Every two to three weeks during the school year, students participating in Creek Connections visit their field site at their local waterway. Each class is provided with equipment and reagents to conduct basic water quality tests in the field and the lab. Each school is required to sample for eight parameters: alkalinity, dissolved oxygen, nitrates, pH, phosphorous, temperature, TDS, and turbidity.
